My best coverstitch machine has been great. It’s not very hard to use and it does a really good job at sewing everything I need, aside from the stretchy things like skirts. It still attaches them well enough that they don’t come apart without much tugging (it doesn’t split seams or anything either). The last three projects I’ve used my serger on were all vinyl tablecloths which turned out beautifully.
It is so far so good with thread breakage, oftentimes you can pull your stitches close for better tensioning before cutting the extra threads off.
